Using Raw Apple Cider Vinegar to remove buildup in hair

Do you struggle with dull lifeless hair?? Products with high Alkaline can build up coating the hair strands and eliminating shine. This great rinse is inexpensive and can be found right in your pantry. Apple Cider Vinegar restores hair ph balance back to its acidic state, closing the cuticle down on the hair shaft adding shine and managibility. It also removes excess sebum (oil) from the scalp.

THE HOW TO:
Get together
1. Shampoo
2. Conditioner
3. Raw apple cider vinegar

Recommended use once a week

NORMAL HAIR- use 1-2 teaspoons of Raw Apple Cider vinegar massage into scalp then shampoo and condition as usual

DRY HAIR-add one teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar to your shampoo, wash and then condition as usual.. With dry hair this may only be needed every two weeks. See how your hair feels with it and experiment.

OILY HAIR- mix one cup Apple cider with 4 cups hot water... let mixture sit for 30 min then Shampoo hair as usual and rinse, Then add mixture to your hair and scalp coating each strand, rinse and condition as usual.

Tips and warnings
Apple cider Vinegar does have a vinegar smell so adding essential oils like lavendar or lemon can help... Do not get into your eyes may sting... Be careful with color treated hair it may possibly strip some of your color....

Have fun with this one. Great for Oily, dull lifeless hair! Especially if you have product build up from hair sprays and other styling products this can really help!

  1. This is great, thank you so much for sharing. I use handmade naked soap to wash my hair and find it to be filled with life than when I used to wash it with regular shampoo's. It is also a lot thicker too. Would you recommend using the raw apple cider every couple of washes? I'm going to give this a go. Thanks very much, also a new follower.

    1. Hi Ana! And thank you.. Yes the soap is a great alternative and alot of times its not as harsh on the hair if its handmade because there isn't all those harsh chemicals.. That's why all the handmade soaps I make are mostly organic ingredients :)... I would recommend still doing the raw apple cider vinegar once a week unless you have very oily hair or use lots of products that may build up.. Just remember if you color your hair it MAY strip a little color... highlights are fine.. but Apple Cider Vinegar is such wonderful stuff, I always have it on hand.. So good for you as well.. add it to olive oil for a healthy salad dressing! Let me know how you like it!! Have fun!
